Upgrades + Flying out of car + ALPHA 0.20 (still arcade)

I've just upgraded the upgrades system. If the button is green you can upgrade it (you have enough skill points), if the button is red that means you don't have enough skill points. And when the button is yellow - the skill is maxed out. Each skill maxed out will give you a different bonus (currently works only on weapon ;) - see for yourself).

There are 8 abilities that you can expand in Agent M60:

  1. Damage - increases the damage dealt to enemies and objects
  2. Sight - decreases the recoil and screen shakes
  3. Clip - increases maximum ammo
  4. Weapon - increases the fire rate
  5. Armor - decreases the damage dealt by enemies
  6. Strength - increases maximum health points
  7. Intelligence - increases skill points (the orange bar) regeneration rate
  8. Stamina - increases maximum stamina (the blue bar)

Environment, resolution, driving, running

I've just added some basic environment elements popping-up in the background (trees, bushes and stones) and upgraded the driving feature.

There are 4 acceleration modes:
1. accelerate (stick the mouse pointer to the left screen border)
2. keep the same speed (hover your mouse pointer over your character)
3. loose speed and aim (hover your mouse pointer over right side of the screen)
4. break (stick your mouse pointer to the right screen border)

Our little Agent can also sprint by sticking the mouse pointer to the right border of the screen.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the resolution change.

Here's a video for you (I recommend to double click on the YouTube's logo
and close this tab because of He-Man lol):

Another post today, man. I've added some cool car driving system.
You can watch, you can play!

Video (death animations!)

So I've recorded some gameplay footage after adding some death animations.

Hostages

Added a new feature. Agent can grab an enemy and use him as his shield. It works like crates, but you are still running and you can't reload or heal.

>inb4 headshot

Leaning back to avoid getting damage. Or to punish your hostage on purpose.

I've added a wooden house checkpoint. It takes you back to the upgrades menu and then back into the game.
Say hello to my little friend! He's Vietnamese.

Them crates man.

Ok, so I've added some more units and a new ability, which is hiding behind crates. Codename M60 can avoid getting any damage (and level progress, duh) by ducking behind these.
When you're hiding behind a crate your health regenerates 4 times faster (although i'll change it for some manual event, like reloading), you don't take damage (but the damn barricade does!) and you can safely reload your weapon. Also, there's no car, barrels and prisoners spawn, so you have to use these crates wisely.
M60 hiding behind a  crate as usual. What a casual!

When your mouse pointer's horizontal position is behind the crate, you duck and the crate gets all the damage you'd get when running. The crates are breakable, so you'll have to take care about these pesky enemies.

This ain't no survival mission, mr. Agent. Get back to rescuing prisoners!

When your mouse pointer is over the "enemies' area" you can actually shoot (no shit Sherlock) and get the normal damage. The same damage as if you were running. You can duck at any moment you want by leading your crosshair back behind the crate. It's pretty logical, why am I even explaining this to you?

RESCUE THE DAMN PRISONERS AGENT M60
My next step is to make the manual healing and change the explosion of limbs for some death animations.

Begin.

AGENT M60 is a dynamic shooter. It has a lot of blood splashing, muzzle flares flashing, screen shaking and stuff exploding. AGENT M60 contains everything '80s action films had.

The current form looks very arcadeish. It's just a bunch of enemies and prisoners goofing around, no twists, no missions, no plot at all. I'm adding all the shit from the top of my head and then I'll cut them into different levels. Seriously, fuck the plot guys.

You are the Agent. You wanna shoot some bad guys? Fuck yeah! You wanna get shot by them? Ouch!Wanna shoot barrels? Boom! Wanna shoot some cars? Boom? Wanna catch some prisoners of war? Why not! Wanna upgrade your character and see how weird it gets with each skillpoint? Go for it! Wanna have fun? Well, fuck you.

Save the prisoners (by not shooting them with your godly M60) to get skill points. You can manage the skill points each time you die and start the game.

Basic things are contained in game's help option.
